B8.0 Flute Intonation (Playing in a Band Tip No. 8)
Intonation for Flutes is always difficult. Encourage students to initially tune by listening to tone rather than with tuner. (It's important to work with tuner at home with all notes). They will make mistakes, but they will learn. Once in tune, flutes need to always listen to others to stay in tune. Perhaps practice hearing intonation with chords so they can listen to other instruments in band and keep in tune (rather than only listening to a possibly out of tune flute neighbor).
This Print comes as 4 by 6 Note Cards with envelopes and matted OD 16 in. by 20 in. prints.
